Someone once told me my sound is like if Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell had a baby. I don’t know about all that, but it’s always made me laugh.

Raised on traditional bluegrass and classic rock, singing harmony was as second nature to me as walking and breathing. When I was 16 I asked my dad to show me three chords on the guitar, I learned every song in my Tracy Chapman songbook, and then I started writing songs of my own. I haven’t stopped writing since. I have recorded two full length studio albums, both available on all streaming platforms you use to listen to music. I’ve also sung background vocals on a number of friends projects, something I truly love doing and would love to do more of.

I’m a mom to an 11 and 9 year old, both of whom are musical in their own ways too. I’ve spent most of the last 11 years of my life raising them and being a full time mom. Playing music took a big backseat until covid came into all of our lives and I needed the outlet that songwriting had always been for me. Thankfully it came right back to me like I had never put it down. I started recording the songs I’d write in my closet and posting them on Instagram. This last year I got back out there and took to the stage again. And now here I am with my first ever website! Only took me 44 years to get here - right on time!
